Most people know about Neighborhood Watch, which helps citizens in their neighborhoods to reduce crime and the fear of crime. Business Watch is designed to do the same thing. |

The City of
Lynchburg's Business Watch program is administered by the Police Department Crime
Prevention Unit. It is a new program, so we're still working out the kinks, but, it
is designed to help business owners reduce their losses, by providing them timely
information, through an email alert system and through an on-line members-only knowledge
base. Currently, the e-mail system is functioning, however, we do not yet have the
knowledge base complete. Please e-mail us
for more information regarding this program, we will get back to you as soon as we are
able. Crime Prevention Unit Office Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM- 5:00 PM. If you e-mail outside of these times, we will get back to you on the next business day.
